Pisces

Pisces is the twelfth and final sign of the zodiac — the mutable water sign ruled by Neptune, planet of dreams, dissolution and transcendence, with Jupiter as its traditional co-ruler bringing faith and the instinct toward meaning. Its archetype is the mystic: the consciousness that experiences the boundary between self and other as permeable, and finds in that permeability both a gift and a wound. Pisces feels everything at depth; empathy is not something it practices but something it simply is. In relationships it is tender, imaginative and capable of a quality of devotion that borders on the sacred — it must learn, however, to discern whom that devotion serves. At work it excels in any creative, healing or spiritually oriented field where intuition outpaces method. Its growth edge is the shadow of boundlessness — escapism, susceptibility to illusion, and a tendency to absorb the emotional weather of its surroundings until it loses the thread of its own interior life. At its best, Pisces dissolves the walls that keep people from recognizing themselves in one another: the deep ocean that holds everything.
